uncaping the engine oil cap what are you suppose to see?

    If the OP cant see any engine oil , go get 15 quarts of 20W50 and a skinny funnel . Start pooring the oil into the dipstick hole until you see oil coming out of that hole where you removed the cap .
    Note : this may take a while to fill . A suggestion would be to put the new oil in the fridge overnight before you start .
    Once the oil drips out the large hole , put the cap back on and start the truck and run the engine until warm looking for any noticeable leaks
