    No that one had a whine in the rear end, veered to the right, and surged when they move the side stick.

    Odds are it will land in the water, or at least an empty bit of land. Odds are though eventually they'll hit something important. Intentionally not deorbiting something safely isn't in line with modern best practices, but is pretty on brand for China.

    Same folks that are okay with having rockets fall back on towns near their launch sites. There was a crazy video of one falling back, blowing up and then a toxic cloud coming towards a small town.

    It is like the Russians trying to LARP the west.

    I have heard from a few telescope guys that they are not happy about StarLink putting a lot more stuff up there. I guess each sat has a light beacon on it?

    The sun lights them up.

    No doubt, but deorbiting things intentionally in a safe location is the way to go rather than just trust to chance that they will land in an uninhabited location.
