    Undercoating like fluid film is better than the spray can rubberized stuff. With the rubberized crap if a hole/crack developes in it water gets behind it and you'll have way bigger problems than if you had done nothing in the first place (don't ask me how I know this.) The problem is you can't see the rust behind the material until it's too late. With products like fluid film it's more of a oil... able to see under it and you can still find the nuts and bolts.

    Why not use Fluid Film or does the rubber coating do a better job?
