Think water is leaking from under the cowl where the wiper shafts are and into the cabin. Dont feel any rust when I reach in through cabin air opening hole in the firewall, but there is a rust spot on passenger side floor.

I'd reseal the seams in the little tunnel where the wiper shafts are located, but it's very hard to reach deep in on the passenger side.

attached pax side foor rust spot where water pools up.

Have you checked the drain hose from the A/C? If that is clogged with dirt it causes water to build up in the hvac box under the dash and eventually ends up on the pass side floor

The drain is located in the engine bay coming out of the firewall just above the frame on the pass side. Little rubber hose about 2-3 inches long
