Under Dash - Floor Lights... Has anyone done it

Bright White 08 Reg 4X4 2.7 5spd SR5

I got my first 4x4 in 1972...haven't been without one! I still like Chrome!

In between Toyota's I drove a Chevy for a few years. It had under dash lights that lit the floor and came on with the dome light.
Has anyone done this? How could they be wired so they would come on when either door opened? There are two wires coming from the door switch could I just tie into them?
Would the delay-fade on the dome light pull two more bulbs?
