    Working on it.
I like the idea of onboard air. As long as it can handle the abuse and still work when you need it. Let us know how it holds up.

Where'd you mount the manifold? Or your tail to attach the hose?
Thanks again for the help, looking forward to installing mine...

Anyone with a trd sport mounted OBA or dual battery over at the ABS block? If so how?

Just as another option...I wasn't sure how the compressor would hold up with the New England winters and I couldn't decide where to mount it. So I put together my own portable air system.

I really like you set up! Maybe is a bit costly for me, but it is my "dream" portable auto air compressor set.

Thanks!! It was a lot cheaper than purchasing the ARB portable unit. With help from a group buy the compressor was a good price. The rest I pieced together, got some great prices on Amazon!

Sorta on topic, but anyone find a good spot to mount an air tank under the truck (not in the bed) while still carrying a spare under there? Not ready to go without it just yet...

So I don't mean to thread jack, but I once saw a post somewhere where the guy was able to inflate all 4-wheels at once. He had some pre-connections that went through the wheel wells. All he had to do was just hook up a hose from the connection, onto the tires, turn on the pump, and all 4 inflated at once. I think he even had a psi gauge to see the preassure. Sounded pretty cool, not sure if anyone knows or has done anything like that here?

The only thing I don't REALLY like about that setup is the price of the compressor. :)

I just purchased a Viair 300P kit in a bag, would like to mount it in the engine compartment but its all muddy in the engine compartment, how would you keep the Compressor clean?? Someone else has to have a dirty engine compartment, most of it is from the driveway.I have read some threads mostly ARB threads. Just want a Slee bracket to hold it, all my storage compartments are full of work gear.

I think he made that mount himself.

Slee makes a mount for the arb compressor that goes in that same spot.

Reviving again. Once you have the Slee mount in, does anyone have any advice on how to screw in the dual ARB compressor? When the compressor sits on top im finding little to no room to reach under to screw in / tighten the screws from under the mount in to the compressor.

Edit: Found another thread - suggestion is put compressor on first then put mount in. Will be a bit more difficult on initial installation but do see overall how this will end up being much easier.

That mount was from Off-Grid Engineering (www.**************). A little pricey, but I have had zero problems with their stuff since I installed it almost 5 years ago...
