Went to Jiffy Lube today to get my annual emissions done on my 2007 Toy. Sunday I desided to detail the engine, (usually twice a year). With all the stuff going on I didn't have to get out of my truck. Anyway the guy raised the hood and looked in and gave me the thumbs up and said it looked nice. Made my day, all the work was worth it.

I have been using Griot's product's for a couple of years now. Like all the stuff I've used so far. I used the engine spray cleaner and their engine bay dressing.

I figure the cooling fan blows the dirt off my engine since it looks pretty clean and I have never detailed it in 10 years and 100k miles. :p

May I inquire as to what state deems Jiffy Lube as competent for inspections?

I'd like to put them on my 'don't live there' list. ;)

In Utah they did away with inspections, all we need is emissions now

C'mon Clearwater Bill, I'm sure a Jiffy Lube tech looking like this can surely do a simple oil change on our Tacomas without draining the trans fluid.

I like Griots products. I use their spray wax and it works great.

It's a Pelfreybuilt bracket with a blue sea fuse box. Wired everything up myself.
