A couple of weeks ago, I started hearing a clanking noise under my truck that sped up as I was accelerating and stopped when took my for off the gas. Roughly 300 miles later I stopped hearing the noise when I'm speeding up and now barely squeaks only when I get up to around 60 mph along with vibration. I just took my truck to autozone and the guy said my u joints are good and showed me why. But he did say that the carrier bearing give to much Lee way and the driveshaft is just sitting on the rubber and suggested that was the problem. Does that sound correct?
