Ok, so just here recently Ive been hearing an annoying squeak coming from the rear part of the underside of my truck. It squeaks when at a slow roll, and when accelerating from a stopped position. It also squeaks when in reverse but I cant really hear it when traveling at 25+ mph. the squeaking speeds up as i speed up as well. As of now, I'm kinda leaning toward it being a rubber grommet in one of my exhaust hangers (as i have dual pipes coming out the back). Anyone had similar issues?

If you think it's one of your exhaust hangers, start by spraying each grommet one at at a time with a spray bottle until it goes away and go from there. If it happens to be one of them, treat it with the proper lubricant. Process of elimination.

    5100's all around. Front's set at 1.75" 265/75/16 Duratracs.
I have a squeaking to that is driving me crazy. Dealer says they can't hear it so I guess I am going to take care of it myself. I am going to try the write up on here on the DIY method to fix the leaf springs. If that doesn't work I will look towards anything else like the exhaust hangers and what not. It definitely is annoying as my truck just rolled over 20k miles and it's been doing it for the last 7k and it's just a year old today.

Thank goodness for the easy ones! Glad you found it. How many miles on it? Was it a greasable one?
