Will the application of lanolin based spray undercoat or any other affect in any way the warranty on my 2019 Tacoma???

Fluid film usage will not affect any rust warranty.

The dealership mechanics might not be happy working on your truck after a fresh application though.

It will also make it more difficult if they are checking for leaking/ weeping fluids, fwiw.

They should do it for them. Every year.

Or, people could take responsibility for taking care of their own property...

Very confident the answer is no.

But you really shouldn't ask a group of strangers on the internet.

Call Toyota Corporate and ask, then request their response in writing. Just so some jack-leg dealer doesn't hassle you.

    Agree.

But, it would be cheaper for Toyota than continuing to replace frames forever.

Their only exit path from this circle of replacements is either improve the frame, treat the frame with 'good stuff' (not the junk they currently use) in their designated 'salt states', or put in writing we are never going to replace frames again, it's owner responsibility to clean and protect.

Toyota will say "the addition or modification of your vehicle may or may not void your warranty", their wording is always wishy washy corporate BS jargon.

I sprayed all my cars with Fluid Film this year and I plan to make it a fall ritual. I don't see why it would affect the warranty, in fact, I had warranty work done since and they didn't say anything about it. But, when I took my 2000 Miata in for N.Y.S. inspection the shop I brought it too tried to fail me for a "power steering leak" that they couldn't locate. I knew I didn't have a leak, and when I thought about it for two seconds it occurred to me that It was the fluid film they saw all over the undercarriage. I had to tell the guy to google it, and then they called me back and said it passed. .... LOL...

Has Toyota treated your frame? IDK what people are talking about when they say that Toyota's CRC is junk. I can see how it would be an issue if the techs don't clean/ prep the frame and are careless with application, but that wasn't my experience at all. Although my frame was pretty much fine when they applied it... very little rust and I got lucky with competent dealership techs that didn't overapply or make a mess. The stuff that they use is soft, and feels waxy, as a proper undercoat should be. It didn't dry hard like shitty undercoat/ rubberized crap and it's held up suprisingly well. And they even sprayed inside the boxed section of my frame with some sort of waxy substance. It's soft, and almost resembled FF but less oily. Peeked inside there with a flashlight and there's not a speck of rust to be seen.Mine has been through two winters since application and I was just under there cleaning my frame a couple weeks ago and it still looks great. Although I have decided to begin applying FF annually as an extra precaution. I've heard people talking crap about their CRC, but from my experience it seems to be pretty good stuff.

Got it done this morning as they're calling for rain followed by too cold to work outside weather.Crawling like a snake at 68 yrs hurts a bit and I don't have prescription safety glasses so I'll have to check the dust marks next year to see what I missed. Used about three quarts. Guess that's about right. Thanks for your comments fellas.
