    OP:
Only 05 to 08 trucks are getting frames replaced.
Where are you located in New England? If you are in RI/ eastern CT/ southern MA, I would check out Auto Rust, where I had my frame treated. Do you have any questions about them/ the frame coating they do?

No I was just curious if all frames were made in Mexico. I don't think my 2015 has a sticker on the frame like that. Where was my 2015 frame made? It was assembled in Texas. Sorry not the op

I oil my own frame. First sprayed all the welds on the frame with rustolium let cure for a day. I use old diesel oil from one of our cars(the black black sh!t) and an 8$ sprayer from Home Depot. Put tarps down and spray away. Wipe exess around with an old rag.

8$ works just as well as the expensive stuff

The sticker is an OEM replacement part number sticker, not a production line sticker.

I had my truck Crowned two days after I bought it new (2012). I painted the frame in 2014 after the oil undercoating had worn off. I kept touching it up over the next year or two and wire brushed/painted the frame/diff/springs at least three times. It probably has 4 to 5 coats of Krylon Industrial satin black rust paint on it. I'm a rattle can Rembrant.

I had it rust coated yesterday, and the body shop told me the undercarriage looks new. There is not a speck of rust anywhere, but the truck is dripping juice like an afflicted dick.

I also go to a touchless car wash once a week that power washes the undercarriage (but I'm gonna hold off on the under spray for a while and let the oil creep).

Common sense maintenance is key; don't over think things.

    Good luck!

I wouldn't drive to RI to use Auto Rust then. I would use the oil undercoating, or Fluid film.

I've used 2 cans but haven't done the full frame yet , I did use it on some suspension components , a few spot welds and a bunch of tools , works great

Gotta get some more from Cambodian Tire before winter

Or just be OCD like me and spend a few hours underneath every time you change the oil and rotate the tires.

    ^^ This ^^

And yes it is a curse. Every time it rains I spray it off with a pressure washer and then when I change the oil and rotate the tires I'll spend the better part of a day underneath going from front to back cleaning. The engine bay is just as clean. Fuck OCD but it's cleaner than when it came off the showroom floor.

That's impresive, but at less then 6k a year for a southern vehichle that lives in a garage, is a little different then a northeast daily driver

I agree. It's garage kept and most of the miles that I put on it are to Colorado and back. Winters here suck but we have nothing like you guys up north.
