I came across this video on YouTube. It shows what the underside of your truck will look like if you use Fluid Film and drive on dirt roads. My truck looks almost identical.

A greasy, grimy mess. But rust free!

Well, knowing how messy, and stinky that stuff is to coat a chassis with, there would be no way i'd be doing 3 coats a year. I use to do 1 coat every fall on my tundra and found it nearly useless here in connecticut. I don't need to be a slave to my truck. I'll stick to what bmw and mercedes uses.....cosmoline. You never see them running to get their 3 coats of fluid flim every year.

Going to do mine this saturday. Going to put it up on my friends lift and spend a couple hours dissasembling/ pulling body plugs to get access to everything. Decided on going the woolwax route, with cosmoline an the high spray areas around wheels and suspension. I had used krown in the past, but I think we can do a thorough job, without the drilling.

Basically stock. OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
I had krown spray my truck yesterday. man what a mess. they sprayed everything but the engine which i specified I didn't want sprayed. I'm sure if I didn't specify that, that they would've covered it. they sprayed my bumpers, sliders, light bar, wheels, air box ect. They however did not spray the inside of the frame. I thought for sure they would. they drill holes in the door jambs and can spray inside the rocker panels so surely they can do the inside on the frame right?

Sounds like they sprayed where it was least needed, and didn't spray where its most needed....perhaps their 1st big job?

They should have done inside the frame. I've had mine done every year since 2017 at several places and they've always done it. Sounds like your guys missed the mark.
