Ok guys. I promised you some video of the undercoverhwms in action . But I29 is closed due to recent flooding & detours would add hours to the closest trails. So i compromised & winched the tacoma up a tree in my backyard. Ya i know not much for action. But it will give you an idea of what the undercoverhwms can handle. Its on youtube titled undercoverhwms.com. Its only 30 seconds but i promised ya some video. This is the best i can do for now.

Thanks for putting the youtube video on the forum like that. I didnt know i could do that. Appreciate it alot. Nope im not worried about the bumpercover. Its just a cover. The mount ,frame ,& winch handle all the load. That bumpercover is just cosmetic a small portion of the bumpercover is cut out. So the winchplate & fairlead slide through.

This is awesome. Finally, a real solution other than a plate bumper or Warn Trans4mer.

Im glad you guys are diggin the video. I knew some of ya had a little bit of doubt. & thats only natural. Its human nature. So i thought that quick vid would take away that doubt. & ease your minds. With the answere being YES, It is the real FU**ING DEAL. Can be done? Yes it has been done. With that being said, we lowered our price for the mount one more time. For all of you guys who are on the fence & scepticle. Hopefull now you see the proof . And it speaks for itself. Later fellows . If ya have any questions just let me know.

Just checked out the site... Very interested.
Can you tell me the clearance on your test unit between the winch solenoid and the radiator? I have the extra cooler in that area for the supercharger and want to know if I'd have to relocate the solenoid.

Seth, I measured that for ya, I show 2" from the A.C. condenser, which is in front or on top of the radiator ,too the solenoid mount bracket. Hope this helps answere your question. If not just let me know.

you will need to reroute and more the water pump for the intercooler. it is right where the winch is sitting.

    nice design, I like it

I was afraid of that. Might have to get creative.
    Thanks for the quick info!

Is there any interference with having this and a brush guard?

^ Yeah I was curious as to whether it would be possible to use this if I have an Avid bar?

I really do not know if your aftermarket brushguard / lightbar will work with our undercoverhwms. I dont know what they are using for a mounting point. However we do sell a lightbar for our mount. There are two different ones a long with 4 lightabs & a short one with two lightabs. They must be used in conjunction with our winch mount system. Everything is on the website. Thanks

Okay, so this replaces that aluminum tube thing that is supposed to be a bumper? Does this screw with the airbag stuff, I noticed the disclaimer on the website, but doesn't anything you add to the front (lightbar/grill, etc) change the crumple zone configuration?

Also, can people post the model/brand of winch that will work (op, and those that have done the install).
    Thx

Didnt wanna leave ya hangin. So to answere your question. Yes that aluminum thing is actually your bumper. Our mount is definately going to stiffen things up a bit. There is a couple of members who are installing the undercoverhwms this week or so. But i cant answere for em. One of em said he will post a thread when he is all finished up with it. So keep a look out for it. Have a good one.
