Another question, I need a hook up for the switched power so the sub turns on and off when the ignition is turned on/off. Can I use an add-a-ciruit and plug it into an interior fuse for something that only works when on? I was thinking the 10A wshr (washer) fuse? I'm using the fuse box for the main power source as well, I'm going to plug an Add-circuit into the power outlet section (the Kenwood sub I'm using is a very low power sub and the directions tell you to use the fuse box).

Bought the Kenwood underseat, installed it today and all seems to be working well. Easier than I thought it would be but I also like to read and plan ahead for everything. Used the power outlet fuse for the power and used the washer fuse for the switch on/off. Stuffed the sub under the drivers seat, tight fit but it works. Ran the wires from under the seat rail, along the side under the plastic wiring panel and then up to the fuse box.

The only extras I needed not included with the Kenwood were some add a circuits, some positaps and fuses. The add a circuits I bought didn't have enough fuses in them so I needed to buy some more. The positaps not planned, the add circuits bullet connectors didn't fit well with them Kenwood bullets so I just cut the wires and spliced them together with the positaps.

Sound is very good, more bass than I will use and perfect for me. I wasn't looking for a sound to shake the neighbors, just something with some more depth than the door speakers could give me.

Subwoofer setting question- the kenwood remote has a setting for cutoff frequency but it doesn't seem to do anything. Is my pioneer controlling that automatically? What should the cutoff frequency do and how do I set it, assuming the pioneer is not controlling things?
