Hello , I have a 2nd gen tacoma (2015) I just changed out the torque converter last week. I still have a shudder issue and was told through the t.w. forums that a tune would help with that. Im interested but like some more details. I use my truck for home use only. I do feel that it is sluggish . Please help me understand what tunes are about and would my truck benefit from having it done. Thanks

I’ve never heard of a tune fixing a converter shudder, ever?

As for a tune, yes it helps the auto trucks more that the manual trucks in the 2nd Gen.

But a tune to cure shudder, not likely

If you're having "issues" with the stock calibration and the TCC shuddering, nothing I do on the computer side is going to "fix" it.
