I was looking at my truck today and it seems to be leaning towards the drivers side. I took some measurements and sure enough it looks like the drivers side is almost an inch lower than the passenger side (at the rear of the truck). I made sure I was on level ground and even turned the truck around and measured again.

Anybody else experience this. Is this normal or should I be concerned? I also checked tire pressure and everything looks good. Could it be the suspension?

Do you need to know, or care?
This has come up multiple times, consensus is weight from gas tank causing the lean to one side.

Wonder if it's because the battery and gas tank is on that side... Mine leans a bit this way too.

Holy shit really!? I thought I was crazy! Rear driver is def lower.
I noticed where the bed meets the cab the top of the bed is not quite level with the bottom of the window.
As it goes to the back corner of the bed it progressively gets lower... WHY!?!?

So it sounds like nothing to be concerned about right?

It is definitely bugging me though.

Has anyone brought it up to their dealer?

the weight that makes it lean is probably near the front making the bed off angle a bit

I think I will take measurements along different points of the frame.

Taco lean, nothing new. That's why they make trim packers. I had it on my 06, thought it was due to 100k+ miles of wear, didn't expect it to happen to my brand new truck. You'd think Toyota would fix this by now.

lol not sure if mine has it or not, haven't looked or noticed it though.

pretty sure my 2011 4x4 sport I traded had a little pimp lean to it.

OP, the good news is an OME trim packer is only 8.99, and it gives you an excuse to go ahead and lift it.
