Is anyone else unhappy with there Bestop canopy?

I got mine and installed it, the first problem was the rear flap bar they sent me was like 6" to long. I am going to have to get it cut to to use it, so right now I left the rear flap off until I get that cut. Then the forward section keeps pulling off the velcro and banging against my rear window every time I get to speed on the freeway. I read of some that had the same problem and just ordered 2 more clamps. While that is a fix, its unsat that I have to buy to more clamps to make this work right.

Overall I like the look of my bestop and will probably like it more once I get these items fixed, its just that I shouldnt have to get these fixed to use the product properly.

Before cutting anything.....I would call Bestop and make sure you have the right product for your application. OR call them for some help.

If you don't like it....return it for a refund instead of 'cutting it' and living with it forever.

I don't know what's going on with your rear window bar, but I read the comments about the front window coming un velcro'd and bought some 90 cent clamps at Harbor Freight and put them on there to stop it from doing that before it starts.

I'd do like Janster said and call up BestTop to see what they say about your rear window bar.

    Good luck.

i have had no issue except trying to get the windows to zip up all the way when i first installed it, but all i needed was a warm sunny day to let the fabric stretch then they went on without a problem...sounds like you have the wrong product or someone is just playing a cruel joke on you
