Hi all, I am going to be lifting my truck soon but am having a hard time deciding on upper control arms. I was wondering if I can get some feedback from guys running uniballs in the desert? How often do you clean/grease them, and do you have any squeaking? Right now I'm looking at total chaos ucas and camburg balljoint ucas. I would like the extra caster the total chaos offers but am hesitant because of the potential squeaks and added maintenance. Thanks in advance!

Few things .. you don't want to grease uniballs. You want to keep them clean and can use WD-40 with a microfiber to help clean them since it has a mild solvent in it and will evaporate. Then use a dry film teflon lube like Tri-flow to lube. Don't use oils or greases as they will just attract dirt, then make them squeak more and wear out faster. If you're in a dry area you'll have to clean and lube far less often compared to someone in the snow & mud. Really uniballs aren't very high maintenance, the benefits of being stronger, more precise, etc. out weigh a squeak here and there if you need those benefits based on the parts you're running and how you're using your truck.

As far as caster goes all reputable aftermarket arms correct caster regardless of ball-joint vs uniball, so a TC uniball arm isn't gonna give you more caster than say our ball-joint arms. Our billet arms offer the most caster out of any company since you can adjust the heim spacers and we have a standard and high caster setup.
