    The only times you need to replace them is if they are REALLY pitted or rusty or the ball is loose in the cup. Other them that spray dry teflon lube on it and you are good to go

    Wish I could say the same... one of mine on a AP set of arms lasted about a year. Scraped those for some Camburgs. But if you keep them clean and tefloned up, you should be good.
