dont know. was in my truck when i bought it and i haven't driven any other xra cab 5spd 3.4s to know for sure. just auto 3.4 in other tacos. felt like a had more get up and go then my buddies 97 runner which had same motor and tranny. but his also weighs a little more. only getting rid of it cause wrecked the taco

Nothing for a stock engine. Basically works with ECU that changes spark, timing, etc... to account for force induction engines.

 

Unichips are well known for being a very nice product.

Not entirely true. You can see gains on a stock engine , specially as the engines get older. It won't be as good as putting a blower on it, but you can unlock a bit of performance.

1) Talking about the product in a FS thread makes sense. It lead you to say you wrecked the truck, which helps people understand why you are selling and what you thought of the Unichip.
2) Every post bumps your thread up and more people look at it...
