Was doing some work on my headlights and took out the battery to get some more working room inside the engine bay. I have a 2020 TRD off road with the 3.5l v6.

When I reinstalled the battery, I noticed a cable near the battery (not the battery cable) and I have no idea what it goes to. It generally concerns me seeing what looks like a cable that should be hooked up to something just kind of floating around. Any help with what the cable is / where it goes would be much appreciated. Pretty new to having a Tacoma, and my googling / forum searching / looking through the Haynes manual have not come up with anything. Thanks in advance for any help.

Agreed. Hardest part of the audio build is done. Get the checkbook out!

As was said. Was powering an aftermarket amp. Looks like a professional install with the Tessa tape. You’d have to trace it and find out if it was left intact inside the cab or cut short. Probably either runs under a seat or to the back wall of the cab.
