1 suggestion if you end up not liking it there...you could do what my friend Kevin did...cut apart the entire Tacoma Emblem, sand the rough edges, paint the emblem (whatever color) to cover up the imperfections and put them on the bottom of the tail gate even spaced apart...retro looking but with a twist...

I think you got something there. Send a picture maybe they will take your idea to heart. Maybe even give you something for your idea.

 

Ultimately it's whatever floats your boat. Personally, I think this would be something that would have to grow on me. Actually it kinda reminded me of the 1st gen badge placement. And welcome to TW!

Thanks for all the responses. Wasn't expecting this much involvement. TW is pretty schweeeet!!! Will come in handy when I get my grillcraft upper and lowers and sockmonkey's black bumper vinyl next week.

 

Do it, I think that looks sick. Be unique with your emblems, everyone and their mother blacks them out and puts them back in the same spot. Really though, if my mom had a tacoma, I bet she would do that

 

I think you should just leave them off. Just my two cents. Gonna take mine all off eventually.
