    Has anyone unistalled the factory JBL sound system with they're little component sub and upgraded to a full system afterwards?

    Im looking to upgrade and was looking for some help. Thanks

    K&N airfilter, HID conversion for headlights/fogs. Wet Okole Seat covers, Kove Aphex processor Kenwood comp 6.5" and 6.5"coaxial 5100 billy shocks 2.5", 1.5" fabtech AAL,Epicenter and MTX Sub, debadged, tinted, kenwood dnx812, black mesh grill, led ext/int.

    FX-R Projector Retrofit with Apollo Shrouds, Digital HID 55 watt ballasts, D2S Philips 85122+ bulbs in the Winter and Digital HID 55w 5k bulbs in the summer, Bakflip G2, Pop N Lock, Tint, Grillcraft with PIAAs behind it, ScanguageII and a few audio/video upgrades.
    Yes, I took all of the JBL system out of my 2005 Double Cab and installed an aftermarket system. I used the stock speaker locations for my aftermarket speakers to remain as stealth as possible though. As far as the sub, I put a ********* single 10" sub box behind the rear center seat until I can find the time to create a custom set up. I also made a custom amp rack behind the right rear seat for both my amps. Also, I was able to maintain the storage area behind the left rear seat by doing this :). For the headunit I installed a double din Navigation/DVD/iPod/bluetooth unit with an aftermarket dash kit. Overall, I am happy with the set up so far.

    Mr. Marv is a guru on this stuff and has a thread stickied in the audio/video section. I got some ideas from him and other members on TW.
