My silver 2015 Tacoma looks great except they forgot to paint the lower front center of the truck. It was left black. Has anyone painted that black section to match the body of the truck?

I think it is left as black textured plastic because over time rocks and debris will ruin it. Go look at the lower bumper on any low riding car and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah I painted mine but my bumper isn't like your style.

I am flat out not happy with that black section. Was hoping maybe a 3rd party had a polished chrome cover or something that would stick on with 3M tape or something.

    They didn't forget.

It's a styling aesthetic. I haven't seen anyone cover it with that kind of product and doubt it exists.

Don't there exist TW members who have intentionally blacked out that section on those trucks that have it color-matched?

you can buy Krylon in almost any color you want, or vinyl film and wraps will stick right on - yellow daisies would stand out nicely.

I think I've seen one person who color matched that valance.

The larger group are the 2005-2011 crowd who paint that area black to mimic the styling of the 2012-2015 trucks.
