Installing new led lights for the speedo cluster and this happened. There is no slack in the line. Any ideas on how to plug that back in?

There's no room to reach under there though. I ended up trying to take the entire dash off and this is what it's like now. 0b93f2f356a1ff56ec408c07cfafdee5_ed76cf8af5ea2298bb9792b681781c3a5f77178b.jpg

I'm about to pop the dash off

unhook the end on the transmission/transfer push a little slack forward until you have enough to reinstall the dash, then rehook the transmission/transfer back up. Done it this way many times.

Would that be under the car? Or through the cab? I'm not familiar with where it hooks into the transmission at. Thanks for the help.

you would unhook it under the car, and push some of the free end of the cable into the cab at the fire wall.

follow the cable to the firewall then see where it is located, then go under hood and spot the cable as it goes through firewall, follow cable down to tranny then disconnect it

After nearly disconnecting my brake line and dying in a glorious ball of fire I found the speedo line and reconnected it to the dash. Thanks for the help guys. Couldn't have done it without you

remove the venting just above radio (not the part that directs the air but the 90 degree pipe behind it) and you can reach in and plug it in.
