Let's post TW related and not actually controversial opinions because 2 opinions max is no opinion at all.

I'll start. I think we will someday look back at the 3rd gen OR stock wheels as classics on par with the examples below. They aren't the raddest, but they are nostalgic Toyota we will someday love.

Politics are not allowed regardless. Have you not noticed this?

Yes, though. The OR wheels are very nice, even better on the Trail Edition trim in all black. If they came in 17s, I would be a happy camper.

    Unpopular opinions:

-ECT programming sucks and driving with it on makes the truck drive worse, even in its intended scenario.

-the 400W bed inverter is a waste of time. I’d rather have been given a Toyota hat and a coffee mug.

Agreed all the way. ECT is nice for towing but ECT always should be replaced with tuning.

400w has been really handy for Christmas lights and charging my laptop. Zero other uses so far...

My OR rims are so lame I covered them in black vinyl. My white truck now has ZERO chrome/aluminum.

I can see where you are coming from, but the 400w Anytime Mod (4AM?) from @kmorgan3 with an A/C outlet in the rear of the console was worthwhile for me. For charging stuff on trips, it has worked well.

I am hoping the square headlights come back in style, along with orange shag carpet.

    I'll play.

Permanently mounting camping shit and a bunch of overpriced containers that you will never actually use, ruins the truck.

Bolting a bunch of cast-iron to the undersides also ruins the truck.

Trying to fit any tire larger than 31" or heavier than a SL load...also ruins the truck.

    UnPopular Opinion;
As much as we all complain about model bloat and electronic nannies I would last about a week driving my old 86 around before I begged to have my 3rd gen back..

The thing is, how much stuff even charges off AC anymore? But, I see your point if you have such items. I personally have none. Even my Milwaukee tools charge off a 12V cigarette outlet, and everything else is USB.

My laptop, R/C and drone stuff, and my only Milwaukee charger has an A/C plug. Hahahaha! All are 3A or less. I've charged Baofeng batteries for friends on a road trip.

But, yeah. Universal USB C charging for everything would a be just amazing.

Well, for your benefit, I will no longer bash the 400W inverter. Sounds like it has its fans.

It is still bashable. The bed outlet is silly when extension cords exist. I'd rather have a large cubby on both sides, that were sealed from the factory.
