Has anyone experienced the subject conditions and been able to improve or fix the condition(s)?

I drive on 87 gas, 5,200 ft elevation, a/c on and off does not seem to matter. Vehicle is stock.

Sound like it should be throwing codes. Have you had it to the dealership?

By any chance, if you floor it off a dead stop does it hesitate and takes it a second to go? If you do experience that there is a TSB that fixes that issue.

Seems like the gas you're using, do you always stop at the same station?

I drove 1600 miles in the past few days, different gas station each time. Are the symptoms for the TSB stuttering during moderate acceleration too? I did one turn left on to a highway and had to goose it, the truck seemed to stall and almost caused an accident

Did you do it from a dead stop? If you did yes that’s the issue the TSB will fix. My truck experienced it from time to time while driving under about 10MPH-15MPH. After the TSB was done I had no more issues related to that.

If it isn’t bad gas, it could be bad CPS

Gas shouldn’t make that big of a difference. Get it to the dealer...

Octane doesn't make much difference for normal driving. 91 is recommended because it's not as twitchy (unstable) as 87, and tends to burn a bit cooler.

This sounds exactly like "Take it to Toyota for service." to me.

Same symptoms as my friends 2019 Taco OR Pro ... at the dealer now getting a fuel fump replaced. Only difference, her's stopped running on the highway.

I am going to replace the crank position sensor, will report back. Thank you all for the postulations thus far.

Sounds like a CPS issue (crank position sensor)

TSB for that part is common
