Unused 10 pin Connector

    Hi. We inherited our '02 Tacoma (base model, extra cab, 2.4L, 4cyl) a few years back. Can anyone tell me what this unused 10 pin connector, located under the left side kick panel might be for? The truck has a hitch and 7 pin trailer connector, but I think they were probably installed after-market. Thanks!

    Dog, camper.
    I believe Toyota used the same harness, regardless of the trim level. So it's most likely unused since you have the base model. My '96 had a few unused plugs as well. The presence of dirt says it hasn't been plugged in for a long time.

    Thanks. As we just purchased a small camp trailer with electric brakes, I was hoping this might be available for a brake controller pigtail.
