I wanted to throw my name in the hat as well for some wheeling and responsible shooting. I've been looking to meet people who like to the same. As long as its legal, safe and responsible shooting I am very interested. My only limitation is am brand new to wheeling so if you are willing to put up with a newbie and the trails are not too insane I would love to get something setup. I have many boom sticks and we could collaborate on who's bringing what so that we can all shoot different firearms without being stuck cleaning a bunch of guns!

Keep me posted, or regardless of shooting if you are hitting up some easy trails that are suitable for new wheelers.

Are there any Mod days planned near Denver? I would love some help wiring in my topper lights and front flood lights for camping this summer. I’m also in need of doing the ECGS clamshell bushing replacement. I’ve done most of the work on my truck, but am not super skilled at wiring and doing the bushing alone is kind of intimidating as this is my daily driver...

If anyone wants to hang out somewhere and re-boot CVs, I'm in that position as soon as I get the re-boot kits...

 

Seems like we have a few of us that could use a mod day... I have tools and enough coolers to chill a lot of beer!! I just do not have a good place to wrench. Did I mention I’m a chef so could also feed everyone if that would help make this happen!!

 

Sounds like we need to take over someone's parking lot / warehouse... I have tools and know-how but am tired of working in my street.

 

Humm I might be able to get a few bays. Doubt it’ll in the next weekend or two though

 

I’m not in a rush, just tired of wrenching on a city street dodging people speeding by while texting

 

When ya gonna get the boot kits? I’ve wanted to tear one apart but never had a spare or need to yet.

I've never rebooted a CV but would be interested in learning given my keen ability to blow through them recently. I have one that needs a boot but I think is otherwise in good shape

 

Don’t think I need to do it, will look more when I get home. But we were just talking about a foothills mod day.

Well this weekend is Memorial Day weekend and I normally go to a spot out in Burns, CO for the weekend. However I didnt realize it was this coming weekend until last night and hadnt really started making plans yet. I could possibly be coerced into changing my plans to a wheeling trip close to home.

 

I need a new boot on my drivers side.
That ones starting to rip more.

 

Sounds like us with CV boot problems should just meet up at Walmart parking lot or something and just replace them all there and keep the dirty grease out of someone's shop
