Hit a similar route a couple years ago with a few OG folks no longer active here. Though we went into Montezuma and looped by the reservoir to hit Georgia, wish we just went through Middle Fork or something haha. But I was playing follow the leader and I think we weren't expecting to finish the others so quickly

The trip to Montezuma is worth it to see the Saints John ruins close to town.

SOB is my least favorite trail. It's relentless.

Yep, I think a few of us had enough after the initial 150-300 Yards of SOB/ huge bowling ball rocks to ever run it again. Once past that, it's just a dirt trail.

We didn't go with Jace. He claimed SOB was impossible to find. I think we shamed him into going shortly after we did.
I remember some jeeps coming down SOB and shaking their heads warning us that it would be impossible for our trucks
I don't remember it being all that hard. Now I'm going to hunt for pics.

It took me a couple of tries to find SOB. But now with the navigation apps available, like GAIA GPS, at least I can see on the map that I drove right by that hidden entrance before the cabin when approaching from Middle Fork.

I just remember all the rocks were "shifting" and do to steepness/ rock size we after the initial run we had to put spotters out up the hill for each vehicle so they could keep their momentum going into those narrow big rock obstacles sections.

I remember that was back when the summer afternoon rain it was hard to run all 4 and @Squeaky Penguin had a challenge out about doing all of it single run.
