Volunteering for Stay the Trail Sunday. Wiring winch controls Saturday. I could go the weekend after this one though.

I am trying to talk the wife into it now. Last time she went with me it was so icy that we only made it halfway up middle st vrain. if its like that she may kill me cuz it took forever to get nowhere.
Problem is I have no winch but I have a shackle hitch and a light tow strap. I need a better strap but they are expensive. I still want to get that other shackle hitch from Bob so that I have both.

I have two 3inch by 30ft straps if you want to borrow one until you pick up a new one.

Thanks Dev! You have any idea what the weight rating is on them? I think the one I have is 9500lbs. I think that would be okay, but if we get in some deep snow there could be a lot of drag on the truck weighing it down.

No idea one is a smitty built strap and the other is from wheelers offroad. We have used them in the snow to pull tacomas out just fine.

I'm hoping you all can agree on a trail that is somewhat close. If I can make it, I'm hoping to not have to drive TOO far since I will have the wife and baby. Too much car seat time=crazy baby.
