    Yessir.

There's no way a properly running 4.0 that's supercharged runs anywhere near as slow as you're saying. I watched a video with a stock Tacoma running around 6-6.5 second 0-60 and then that same truck with similar mods as mine was running close to 4 seconds flat from 0-60.

In fact, here's a video I found of a TRD supercharged Tacoma running 13's while sputtering down the track for some reason and the stall was going nutty on that launch from the sounds of it.

That sputtering is the truck hitting fuel cut (over rev). If a manual transmission he is just shifting too late. If an Auto, the tranny is going out/can't shift fast enough (or he is manually shifting it too late). Too bad we don't know the truck setup.

That truck is w/o a doubt an automatic and none of this even matters because it's still running 13's.

No way that's up here though. I put a shit ton of work into my WRX which was lighter, more boost, exhaust, custom tune, intake, AWD launch at full boost, suspension, and wicked tires, and a bunch of other shiz to get it down to the 13 mark and below. Not saying the yours is not fast but 13's is a wicked street driven vehicle in CO. I will agree that there is no way someones NA 3rd gen runner will keep up everyone knows they are slow as fuck. And I don't understand how a NA xrunner could beat it either with the same motor. I could see maybe both having the same mods done IE: Super chager exhaust tune and tires the xrunner winning just due to being lighter with no 4x4 but who knows.

The fastest 1/4 time for a Tacoma is a 4x4. Runnin mid 12's. super werty is the member name on here. The 4x4 launches better since it has more traction than the xrunner

Well there ya go. But I doubt that 12 comes to CO and runs that the altitude really slows vehicles down. That's what we are talking about the Xrunner and 4x4 was brought up a few pages back and maybe in a different thread we could not believe what was said. IIRC an xrunner is faster than a 4x4 supercharged. It made me laugh :D

Timeout Hoyal, I'm not saying my truck runs 13's and I'm FULLY aware of the difference between elevation and vehicles having run multiple modified vehicles at various elevations. In fact, I think I even said at some point to add at least a half second to that time up here but the point was that a supercharged 4.0L 2nd gen 4x4 isn't the dog some are trying to make it out to be.

    Well played sir. Well played.

BTW, you may not have noticed but a trip to Bandimere during this discussion was mentioned which would make it officially event discussion. ;)

He makes a valid point. :p
