If you pay the $32, you don't need a license. If you get a license, we can go to places open to the public but no private lakes.

Is that private lake fly is hung only? I know up by my in laws almost all the private lakes are. And that's not far from your cabin.

It's 7 lakes  most are small ponds though. One big lake. I got my license because if you do there are wetland areas (think big beaver dams) which are private (I think) but require a license. They look good. Tight spots, but good.

There are no signs stating so. A few people saw me bait fishing and said nothing. Salmon eggs being drug slow across the bottom was killing them.

You may want to check to be sure. I know the ponds and lakes around my inlaws is flys on all of them and lures on the 1 lake you can spin reel on. Just don't want you guys to get in trouble if the game warden rolls up.

Oh for sure! Good thinking. I will call the owners association office and look in the fishing regulations that they have posted online.

So $32 per person to fish at a private lake, correct?

Yep. I can have up to ten people at a time and you can go to as many of the lakes as you want.

Why do the 2nd gens have to be compared to suburbans? Just because my truck is 4000 feet long doesn't mean...oh wait it does mean its a freaking whale out there. Never mind, carry on ;)
