I'm taking a trip with my wife from Los Angeles to Denver September 7th-21st. I will be in CO September 12th to camp and wheel for that day, then heading to a hotel the night of the 13th in Denver to see a Broncos game on the 14th. If anyone knows of any good places to camp/wheel close to the I-70 (for sake of our route and schedule) please let me know. And if anybody is close and would like to go wheelin please let me know. Thank you.

Looks like sevenmile opened up finally, and the word is that moody is next to open up
My ,02 though, if any southern peeps were to come up for a run, I would run bald mtn and green ridge. If we were to haul ass we could do the Mud loop and throw sevenmile in with those two.

Long day but doable. Start Green Ridge from the Poudre side, cut over to Bald, run it in reverse (downhill) then hit 7-mile on the way out.
Opening day for archery is Saturday, so I'm out for the month of September.

few close to denver not far off i70

bill moore lake (i do not suggest the red elephant hill option if you're going solo and without a winch..shit can go wrong fast)
    saxon mountain>cascade creek
    argentine pass/mine

or you could hop off in silverthorne and head into montezuma to do:

webster pass up and over to 285 then take that into denver (may be snowed in still at the top though...)
or st johns>radical hill>webster pass down to 285 (may be snowed in still at the top though...)
or st johns>radical hill>webster pass back down to montezuma, then take loveland pass over to i70 and into denver
or st johns>swan river>georgia pass over to 285

on Facebook there's some locals planing a 7 mile night run for this friday night.

Ughh I'm starting to feel bad. We just got all the cruiser bumpers from the group buy done and shipped, and i've been meaning to do yours, but I haven't had any spare time at work to do yours. I swear Im not a procrastinating college student hah. Ill be in today and there's only a little work for me and ill be cutting and bending your stuff today.
