Im def game for this as well, i have some coils i want to swap onto my 5100s, and get an aal or dakars in the back. It'd be nice to meet a lot of you and get some spring wheeling in as well. Ive got tools and can provide an extra hand or two along with refreshments post wrenching!

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Done that already! I wrote my real name in there not my screen name.

Alright so i have a few friends that need to get their truck dirty at work so im gonna lead a little run down to the gulches sunday the 3rd. Im invisioning running missouri gulch starting from the woodland park side, hittin up moab hill and then wrapping back onto long hollow and take it out to rampart and back to denver via 85. There was a sweet rocky section on long hollow i wanna hit again, didnt get a chance to explore it last weekend.

Looking at the weather forecast, rain is likely so be prepared, probably small amounts of anow will still be on the trail id imagine. Really not looking to have a tremendous amount of trucks... probably cap it at 10 or so. Prefer to have the more built trucks on this run, we are gonna be moving decently fast, lots of ground to cover, basically no stockers please. Call it a PRE MOAB, GET YOUR SHIT WORKING RIGHT RUN lol
add to the list if u wanna get out.

Hey all. Just wanted to introduce myself. I have a mostly stock (for now) '13 dcsb OR and would like to get out and do some light wheeling sometime. Sounds like the trip you all are discussing for early May will be out of my league but I want to throw my hat in the ring for future endevours.

    Hey Colorado Tacoma buddies.

A few friends and I are doing our annual camping trip. I'm originally from Colorado but will be bringing a few Texans with me on the trip up. We will meet up with some friends of mine who are from Colorado (one also owns a Tacoma :) ). We plan on having a day of 4x4ing and would more than be happy to meet new friends (especially Tacoma owners). Still deciding on the exact date for the 4x4ing but will update everyone.

We will be there around June 14-18 at Pike National Forest. Here are the coordinates 39.282083, -105.514966 (sorry about this, Google map wont bring up the spot when I copy and paste the link)

This place has a few nice easy-moderate trails. nothing too extreme. We will also bring our ATV's. We will have shooting, fishing, all types of fun activities.
One of my buddies own a modded FJ. Lets get as many Tacomas out there and give him a hard time hehe ;)

Hope to make more friends and see you all there

What trails are you running out there? Just curious, grew up in Bailey and didn't realize there were 4x4 trails down yonder. Sounds like a pretty epic time though!

May 9th works for me too as long as we start decently early in the morning. Change of plans on front suspension just ordered a set of 6112's for the front and aal in the back.

Sorry for the late notice guys.
New to the forums, and trying to get a group together for what should be a little more than a half day run tomorrow, May 2nd, 2015
This is a pretty good run for playgrounds, the last time I ran I spent too much time wandering spurs and ended up going back the way I came in.
I would like to play a little, but the ultimate goal is to find the way out to Central City. This run isn't that difficult, probably possible stock.
But it's pretty easy to get turned around out there.
The forecast is rainy, so it could be a little muddy. 5-10 rigs would be welcome.
Message me if you would like to join.

    The Trail:

    The plan:
Meet at McDonalds in Idaho Springs at 9:30 - 9:45

Head west to Fall River Road.
    Air down

Up Cumberland Gulch to Yankee Hill

Exiting the Central city side on the East end of Yankee Hill Trail.

Great, If you can't get it hooked up in time no worries. It isn't necessary for this trail, just makes it more enjoyable.
