    http://www.prolineracks.com/proline-roof-end-track-slats.html

I now have two sets of these, in 42" lengths for the topper. The original ones I mounted on the top side, and the Prinsu rack is bolted to it. When I installed it, I used longer bolts since I knew I wanted some kind of inside the topper roof storage. I had not had any ideas until I watched Expedition Overland Season 2 and saw that they had the same tracks, mounted inside the topper. So I am using the same mounting bolts, and securing them that way. Then cross bars side to side mounted to those, and stuff mounted to the cross bars. That way you can tighten down on the cross bars and not pull on the main tracks at any other angle than straight down... since sideways force on a fiberglass topper wont last long.

The nice thing (that I didnt realize before) is these tracks are perfect for using 3/8" spring nuts from the electrical department at a hardware store. Bag of 6 is like $5 and then you slide them in and bolt stuff to them as you wish. I left one coil on the spring and they slide in and stay where you put them. I spent 2 hours at Home Depot trying to figure out a system, but think I have it figured out on how to mount maxtrax up there on one side and a camp table on the other. Both should be secure yet quickly and easily accessible from the rear of the bed.

Hoping to have that mounted up tomorrow and then I'll throw up some pictures and more details.

Edit, if you use them inside your topper, I would also suggest mounting them so the bolts go through existing tracks on the top. That way the load you have hanging from them is spread across the load bars on top. If you just bolt them through, without that, you'll need some sort of large fender washer on the top to prevent the bolts from pulling through. Then again, it depends on what you are planning on storing inside. With two or three maxtrax, and a table, I want it to be sturdy.

And those bars work with either the Yakima or Thule feet which is nice.

Thanks for info. I'll look into these as it seems to be a good solution to use the space on ceiling of the topper.

    I'll be there 31-5th

    Inside? like hanging?
have you thought about running L track? then it's adjustable... it's what I mounted to the bed of my truck... don't know why it wouldn't work for the roof of the topper, just couldn't hold as much. (rated to 1000lbs per slot)

Yep inside, inverted roof rack or basket of sorts. L track could work, I haven't looked into it much, but I'm a little afraid to put much lateral force on the fiberglass, similar to what @aero3685 described. I'll have to look into it more.

Still no shocks... wasn't around for the last UPS delivery of the day, but didn't get any notifications...

Hoping for tomorrow. Slee is closed, so it looks like I continue to wait and hope they arrive tomorrow, a week after I was told they were shipped from Seattle to me.

I made the cardinal sin of not checking TW for a week. Did someone say something about an Insain meet up? Did I miss it? What's the deal?

Theres this listing for a Toytec set on Craigslist now. Not sure what they are actually worth, and I would hate to upgrade and not get a remote reservoir since it seems it might be needed in my situation. But I really need to get these shocks on before Wednesday since I'm then out of town and come back with only a few days before the next trip... in which I hope to be working, not wrenching.

Better to ask what I have not done.
I still would like the lift for the rear diff and axle shafts but we were able to get the front set last night so that helped a ton and now we can wrench on others. @sbchero do you have provisions to do u jionts or should i do them here??
