When I go I mostly shoot a bunch of 9 because my wife likes to practice with it. I'll take out my benalli 12ga and 22 if I can find ammo. Or 7mm if I have enough of a range.

Fair enough. We ran Slaughterhouse last weekend. It was ok, the couple of hill climbs were a little more intense that I had expected. And the gate to the mud pits was closed. (Not sure if it ever opens or what)

It's been closed for a long time. Don't think it'll re-open. Those hills get fun when they're pure ice. I guess I'd be up for yankee.

Also, I'm not 100% for Yankee. We're looking at some other trails too.

Yeah, we're in the same boat. We want to go up but have enough homework that we prefer a close, somewhat quick run. We'd like to get back early enough to have the afternoon/evening to chill/do homework.

Plus I also have a pretty compressor begging me to let air out of my tires so it can fill them back up.

j/k :D I'm in the same boat, something close and not too long. I've heard mention of Bill Moore Lake before which I think is just a little farther than Yankee, but don't know much about it.

Bill moore is close, but I've run it 3 times this year. It's not closer than yankee though. At least not from littleton area.

its not closer but you can get there and back quicker because its just off I70. For yankee you have to travel all the way up into central city area which takes a while

It's kind of nice driving back through central city though because then you can stop and get some lunch and maybe win a little bit of money
