    Sounds like a great idea, since from working on the full-size trails project I can tell you that most of the FS data doesn't have 'names' associated with it, just the numbers. Unfortunately even though I can see the post, I can't download the spreadsheet or preview it. Either because I don't have a facebook account and am therefore not signed in, or something about the interface isn't working with my browser(s). I'd be interested in a copy of that if someone can host it somewhere else or send it to me.

    It's interesting, that second article that @thefatkid links to talks about how the '5B areas' (which are the ones that are supposed to prohibit motorized travel because of wildlife) don't show up on a map but apparently do coincide with areas shown on a map that show where you can't snowmobile... So if I read that right, they're still not allowed in those areas, just because of a different restriction than the closure of the road? I don't understand why laws have to be so complicated (yes I do, but still).

    I miss hitting this place up after work. Used to go here quite a bit but couldn't drink a lot of this one; a sampler of this and I was good.
