Upcoming Colorado Events

I thought it'd be cool to take the bike, but I just watched some videos. Might be a real workout.

You should bring the truck... Unless you're saving your time for Alaska.

Which looks like it'll be the second week of August (drive up at least).

 

Well I'd have to have the truck to bring the bike!

August is gonna be a tough time for us, so we'll have to talk more about it later this week or something.

 

No worries. Since I have to make it to LA the first week of August, no way I'll make it up to Alaska by then since there's no reason to rush!

There's a chance I could figure 8 over to the PNW for the flight, up the coast and maybe meet y'all up there and drive towards Jasper/Banff on the way down. I need to book a flight sooner than later though.. i keep putting that off. I'll probably hang in Alaska for a week or two or three... So either way we likely would be able to drive up and back unless you can take that time off as well.

If nobody joins... Whenever i get up there. If people want to join, I'll work around their schedule. Any of July is possible.

 

morrison is on my to-do list so anytime i hear a trip going on, it always grabs my attention... we have a trip to four corners in the beginning of July and FJ Summit in the middle'ish...so might be tough, but i'm always hopeful till the door completely shuts on me

 

FYI it doesn't open until 7/15. Also, you are going to want to do Goose Lake while you are there, it had just cleared from snow early August when I was up there a few years ago.

That said, I would like to make it back up there as I didn't get to do Morrison due to some flaky TWers.

Finally got t the surgery date set in two weeks, I will still be on the mend. Torn medial and lateral meniscus, and a partiality torn ACL. The real bummer is they took 40% of my medial meniscus out 3 years ago. I look forward to seeing the pictures.

 

That sucks, hopefully it'll all go quick and well. Lots of pictures for sure! Just hoping it's open at this point.

 

I having the surgery in the Springs with a doc for the USOTC. Depending on when I can operate my clutch, maybe I'll swing by the Toytec deal to put some faces with names on my way back to GJ.
