If we don't have to go look at houses for my sister-in-law. I should know by 7 or so tonight.

 

Well now he bails... needs to get his ac working. If y’all wanna go still let me know and will do somthing

 

Doing that run that @johnsoct was talking about. Meeting at the Conoco in Sedalia at 9.

 

Damn that got Barried fast. Is he going with co fj group? They are doing the exact same thing on that trail. So it will be crowded

its some facebook group from Stand Tall so yeah Im worried about the size of the crowd as well. Its close enough though that if it sucks I can sneak away and do my own thing. The main group is going to just do Metberry and then some others are splintering off to do other stuff so Im hoping that that will be a good run. Im going to camp either with the group, if theyre cool, or by my lonesome if not cause I know Im cool.

 

Either way, it will be a day in the dirt.

 

But Sunday is a new day if anybody had any ideas for it.....

 

Still waiting for her stupid RE agent to let us know if he setup any viewing appointments.

Anyone been up to loch lomond lake recently? Also been told that area is BLM. Is that true?

 

Does not look like it according to the Clear Creek County assessor's page, and various maps which show the surrounding land as private:

It looks like the lower road has opened since then ( @Lifty ), but upper is still closed. And what @JDM said, it's a private irrigation company surrounded by USFS lands. BLM doesn't have anything until over around Central City.

 

Is that the lake at the end of Rainbow Rd.?

 

I believe if you keep left that's to chinns, go right and that's fall river reservoir. Chinns is "harder".

Yeah Chinns splinters off to the left. I havent been that way yet. Heard it was "harder" and I seem to always be by myself when I go that way.

The way off to the right has several camp spots on the way to it. I saw mention of campsites and thought I might find some new places to go try out.

 

I like the reservoir. Good fishing. Been itching to take the firearms out for some fishing, shooting camping. Last time I was up there lots of folks were target shooting. Need to sharpen up of the rules out in that area.
