    Nice.
I have a friend trying to get me to hike up to abyss lake with them. I don't think im up for a two day stint. I'm thinking I will definitely go to fall river res. Want to try out the new awning. Keep an eye out for me.

I don't have any solid plans yet, but I'm garnering interest to see if it's even worth it (or possible):

    Labor Day Weekend (9/1-9/3)

    Day 1: Pearl Pass
    Day 2: Taylor Pass
    Day 3: Reno Divide/Italian Creek

We would find disbursed camping along the way (I suppose there is a strong possibility that fire restrictions will still be in place). The above order is not necessary either, just the way that I envisioned it. This is all assuming that the entire forest isn't on fire. Thoughts?

What: Telluride Passes and Alpine Loop

    When: July 4th-8th

I know it’s a little last minute, but I’d like to do some trails over the 4th out in Telluride. I plan to camp the whole weekend...just not sure where yet. Any takers?

Here’s what I’m thinking, which is subject to change. I’m basically running the alpine loop in reverse but starting from Ridgway and going to Telluride, Telluride to Silverton, then the backwards alpine from Silverton through Lake City back to Ouray, and finishing at Yankee Boy Basin.

    Weds
    Denver > Ridgway via I70/50/550- 6 hours

Ridgway > Telluride via Last Dollar Road - 1.5 hours
    Difficulty: 2-3
    (https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/1929-last-dollar-road-co)

Camp off Last Dollar Road in Uncompahgre National Forest

    Thursday

Telluride > Ophir / Silverton via Ophir Pass - 2 hours
    Difficulty: 3
    (https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/404-ophir-pass-co)

Silverton > Lake City > Ouray via Reverse Alpine loop (Time: 4-6 hours)

    Cinnamon Pass
    Difficulty: 3
    (https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/258-cinnamon-pass-co)

    Engineer Pass
    Difficulty:4
    (https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/290-engineer-pass-co)

    Camp somewhere near Ouray:
Poughkeepsie Gulch, Angel Creek, or Ampitheatre

    Friday
    Ophir/ I550 > Telluride via Black Bear Pass - 3 hours
    Difficulty: 5-7
    (https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/2651-black-bear-pass)

Telluride > Ouray via Imogene Pass- 3 hours
    Difficulty: 3-6
    (https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/1408-imogene-pass-co)

    Camp near Ouray:
Poughkeepsie Gulch, Angel Creek, or Ampitheatre

    Saturday
Yankee Boy Basin - 2 hours
    Difficulty: 1-4
    (https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/1160-yankee-boy-basin)

    Probably camp near Ouray again

    Sunday
    Go home.

Edit: added trailsoffroad links, specific dates and trails...

I’m looking forward to doing the whole thing. I did engineer last year because that was the only thing open aside from last dollar road.

When i did it years ago in my xj.. I passed on black bear since it had 240k miles (sloppy trans) and no ebrake.

Having done Morrison, I'd like to do black bear.
