Just booked a cheap hotel in downtown Frisco (since I don't have adequate gear for winter camping :anonymous:) to make the drive out to the meeting spot in the morning a little less shitty. It's a room with 2 double beds if anyone is interested in a spot to stay Friday night.

Input for grub? Is everyone bringing they're own stuff or grill hot dogs and burgers? I have my two burner stove but would need s griddle if we're planning on grilling... And we'd need to set up a quick list of what people want to bring.

    8:30amline up, 8:45am roll out

Meeting location will be the corner of CR-5 and 285 where there is a large open parking area that will be impossible to miss. 39.153701,-105.999760.
If you're late, drive up Weston Pass and you'll find us stuck in the snow somewhere.

    Weston Pass Send It Run

    Saturday Nov 17
The masses have spoken and looks to be the most popular, so that'll be the date.

@CO MTN Steve requested a run in remembrance of the shitstorm that transpired late last year.

We will be snow bashing up Weston Pass from the east side with bbq wherever we get stuck. Might be no snow might be tons, should be a good time. It's not technical. Family friendly, plenty of scenery, bring sleds for the kids. Also, bring snow gear. No matter what, it is pretty much guaranteed to be windy.

    1. @Stig - any dates work
    2. @YamaDirtrider
    3. @CharlieCafe - Most likely if it's on a Saturday. I'll bring the blow torch since candles are not allowed
    4. @CO MTN Steve Can't Miss Event! Maybe we should meet at your bare ground with a couple of probably dead Aspens
    5. @Kappes03 - Either Sat is best
    6. @johntoyota any date is fine at the moment but subject to change
    7. @TomTomBikes - FIRST GROUP RUN! any date works for me.
    8. @In4aride - either date pending knee work.
    9. @10tacotrooper - either date works
    10. @Ripcord - Either date works
    11. @huzer - Either date works, pending hockey schedule.
    12. @tacomaco90- Saturdays are best
    13. @mcgov303 - Sat the 17th is best
    14. @lambo - any day
    15. @bot102 - Any day, pending if the lady friend wants to come out!

    Maybe:
@Wulf Need to iron out a few more things on the truck :boink: probably going to try and camp somewhere close the night before.

Meetup time added.. Should be a little later to help with drive time but also get in wheeling before lunch on trail.

Bring snow attire since it'll likely be deep.

Yeah it was about -40°F when I was at the DMZ. We layered up and spooned each other, but something tells me we all won't be spooning to stay warm
