A snow bashing run up Weston tomorrow (Saturday). Pot luck style lunch/bbq wherever we get to.

Easy trail, no worry about pin stripes or anything other than getting stuck in snow and pulled out. There will be deeper snow but it hasn't snowed in a week or so, so the main trail may have tracks.

Meeting at 8:30 up in Fairplay. Family and pet friendly.

 

I'm out for tomorrow. Billet hockey kid just got bumped up from 15u to 16u for the weekend and has a game tomorrow at 2. I should know better. September thru April is all hockey, all the time.

 

Going to do a pot luck style lunch, if everyone wants to bring a little something. Quote it and add what you want to bring for food. Please bring your own reusable utensils and plates, dont need to have a bunch of extra trash although I'll have a bag.

If you're late, drive up Weston Pass and you'll find us stuck in the snow somewhere.

We will be snow bashing up Weston Pass from the east side with bbq wherever we get stuck. Might be no snow might be tons, should be a good time. It's not technical. Family friendly, plenty of scenery, bring sleds for the kids. Also, bring snow gear. No matter what, it is pretty much guaranteed to be windy.

Bring snow attire since it'll likely be deep.

Current conditions: likely close to 12" of snow near the bottom of the pass. At the top.. could be a ton.
Weather right now is low of 15, high of 33. Feels like temps will likely be close to 0 at meetup time. As long as its not windy.. its not bad.
