Upcoming Trips - Elvis to Bad Medicine night run, July 27th

Truly didnt wanna miss it and the fact i have two more weeks to plan and figure things out is a relief.

 

Wish I could do this trip... We will hopefully be closing on our house days before...

 

Was tempted to come out and join at turkey creek camp and explore some of the canyon but 4.5 hour drive for 1 night camping is outside my range for 1 night. Wifey goes in for ankle surgery that Monday so doing both nights are out

Just rolled under the truck tonight and seen my air line for my rear locker is burping diff fluid.. glad I have time to pull the line and get a better connection. hope I didn’t droop out to far and pull it a bit?? Should have plenty of line?

Yeah that is a big hike for 1 night. Hope your wifes surgery goes well and she is back up and mobile quick.

Steen Johnson out of the Toca clinic repairing or replacing torn tendon and ligament can't recall which ones right now. Possibly some other clean up based on MRI results

We doing wood campfires? (As opposed to propane pit). Anyone know if there’s any restrictions?

 

Wood fires, I would imagine we should be safe with No restrictions. This last bit of rain has been nice and turning the desert green again. I'll look into it as well

 

I might be able to swing Friday evening after work, trying to get that put into the plans.

Things will look a lot more clear after the Open - working at WM definitely makes for a crazy week. lol

 

I updated the first post with camping info and times.

@KingOfTheNorth can you look at the camp spot I have for friday nigh and confirm that it works. There are some that are not camping Friday night and figured it would be an easy spot to meet as well.


Also If plan on going and I don't already have your number PM me so I can text you if meeting or camp spots change.


Also think about where the next outing should be. We can talk about it at camp Saturday night.

 

Your planning and Thread control is excellent. I would agree on the Fri night to fit us for the night. Most of us are in RTT or In cab(andrew 4R). Will need a spot for a tent of two incase you ground sleeper show.
@Rudimentality I'll wait till you show and we can park close, your buddy can sling his hammock between the trucks for his night. Have to be off my PS so my ladder can deploy. All looks like it will work out!

Thanks, I picked up good planning skills from @Thatbassguy in the WI crew. I always thought he did a great job organizing the shanigans for outings.

As for cobbler I want to be surprised . Because it doesn't matter to me.
