I'll be doing the same with my second skid, this Saturday. Plus gonna tighten down the tent and make sure I don't bend another hinge plate.

Is this trail too much for an unlocked 1st gen, 3" lift on (old) 32s? I've got a bumper and winch but wouldn't want to be holding everyone up struggling over every obstacle.

I mean I have seen it done years ago without a bumper or winch. How much do you care about body damage? I am not saying it will happen but it could.

Skid’s on, and the tent’s tightened back down and blown out a bit.

On another note. My buddy Layne is going to join in and co pilot with me. Then Stefan is going to miss the trail as he got moved back to night shift. But when he gets off saturday morning he is going to head out to meet us at camp for saturday night with his wife.

As soon as we get to camp saturday I am going to crawl under your truck and take a look. I am running the stock skid and thats it. Although the runner feels like I have 10' of ground clearance so I am not worried. One day I will splurge and get some skids.

Yeah, when I was under there throwing this one on, I realized I have put a little love into the crumple liner around the t-case and a few gashes in the gas tank. :burnrubber:

I'm shooting for full pack in and store run Thursday night, so I'll be ready to leave my house by about 5pm on Friday.

That'll get me there around 7-ish.

Hey guys- hate to miss another one and Rug Road seems like an awesome trail but I'd like to get out to that area for a more extended trip, will be tough for me to pull a quick Saturday/ Sunday trip on this one. Looks like you have plenty of rigs as well- Have fun & I'll look for the next one!

A little body damage wouldn't be the end of the world, she's no show truck. I'm a bit more worried about my lack of lockers and getting stuck in some washed out areas
