I did all them fun things last weekend, I'm excited to get out again with you!

Have we got a head count for people coming? I'm headed out Friday after work to meet at camp. Might have the GF and dog with as well!

No Idea how many to expect for sure. I'll be heading to camp after work Friday as well. It'll just be me, the wife is bailing. Her Mom decided to come visit next weekend.

Also to all. I mentioned in the first post that we will be camping on AZ State trust land. By all rights you "should" purchase a recreational permit (link in first post) if you don't already have one.

This Permit is good to know! I had to look and though my Az hunting license was applicable. This is good to know and as a full resident for this long I have never had one.. Then again, I have never been checked for it. I like to play it safe regardless, commend you for the research!

We may or may not stay night 2, We only live 30-40 mins from the second spot you flagged. It also depends on timing we get to that spot.
Did you get any trail run time, 4hrs-all day, asking for the GF.. Figured its the easier trail that we can stop and have a few breaks.

I think it took us around 4 hours the other weekend to do the trail. Will probably be longer this weekend as I want to do the waterfall obstacle on an offshoot trial. I was thinking of adding on the northern part of the Ajax Mine Trail as well as some of the Reymert Mine Trail to get some additional exploration time. We'll play that by ear.

If your interested (or anybody) I was considering checking out the Elvis trail in that area on Sunday. It's considered a hard trail and has some rock crawling. But I won't do that one alone.

Here's some videos I found on the Elvis trail

Elvis would be better to run as its own trail ride, with others in capable trucks.

most recent trip a year or so ago armor and on 35s..

then like 10 years ago.. mostly stock with a cheap lift and 33's

    Thanks for the Pics!

Yeah that's why I thought Sunday. And I would think @Yacob_D truck would be capable. But if there's no interest for Sunday then it'll be a different trip all together.

Also after seeing the one Pic, I should bring my spare drive shaft lol.

Ya the misses isn't gonna go for that kinda experience, Grateful she wants to join for this "easier" trip. I would be more likely to do that with ya on another trip with some capable rigs even if its a shorter off shoot.
Stick to keeping this the mellow trip in case we get some new faces show up and just want a trail ride? Still talking options as we travel and after seeing who shows up. I know its a drive for ya out there and you had done it few weeks past, so still wanna make it a good trip out!

I have more in my build too from that trip 10 years ago.

Oh his truck is more than capable.. I'm just saying that kind of trip should be it's own thing.

    Yeah it happens.. Lol

Appreciate the confidence! Now just need more seat time for the driver! lol
Crown King was a Blast and a good test to some capabilities, added new armor since the trip and have a few more things to sort out.

    Well dang! We'll miss you.

Maybe we'll setup a trip to Elvis next after Rug Road. So many trials my head is spinning. I want to do them all. Had nothing like this in WI!

Debating making the morning trip out there for the start of the trail and tagging along...

Not in the greatest of places right now, separated w/ the ex-fiancee and moved her out, this weekend is empty house... doing some wheeling sure beats drinking alone and being a sad sack about it.

I'm on the fence because cottonwood canyon and box canyon was our first date though.:bananadead: At the same time though being a :censored::jpow: and never running box canyon again is kind of a bitch move.
