UPDATE 10/20/2024 - YES, THESE ARE STILL AVAILABLE...ALMOST 10 YEARS SINCE WE FIRST OFFERED THEM!

Hey all - just wanted to let everyone know of a special deal we are STILL running on BRAND NEW Gentex autodim Homelink mirrors with compass display (compass only, these do not have temperature display). This version of the mirror has the "hidden" light blueish-greenish compass display where you don't have the traditional compass display "window" in the upper right corner of the mirror glass, but instead, when the vehicle is on, the compass letters appear to "float" behind the glass. These are identical to the plug & play mirrors we were originally selling to numerous Tacoma owners for $259, but because we got a bunch of them at a good price from buying out excess inventory, we can offer a special deal until they are sold out for $169 plus shipping (if you're in Indiana we have to collect 7% sales tax; if you're in Canada +$30 additional postage).

These are available as plug & play for the 09-15 Tacoma's (of course, like I've mentioned in the past, some trucks are missing the constant hot wire in the 14 pin mirror plug so you'd either have to live with the Homelink buttons only operating when the ignition is on or you would have add the constant hot wire to the mirror plug). Also...some 2015 Tacoma's are completely missing the mirror wiring, so on these, you'll have to hardwire in the mirror on your own. And we have these available for the 2016-2023 Tacoma's and even for the new 2024 models as well!

We also have them available as plug & play for certain 05-08 Tacoma's, 16-23 Tacoma's, 07-21 Tundra and Sequoia, and we also have them plug & play for the 07-11 Camry, 12-14.5 Camry & 15-18 Camry. And we have these plug & play for a variety of other makes & models too!

And for those vehicles not plug & play, you can still pick up the kits for $169 and get the regular hardwire kit with it.

As these are new mirrors, they also come with a 3 year warranty. For the hardwire kits, you get a 3 wire harness that is long enough to reach from the mirror, across the headliner, and down the A pillar to the bottom of the dash for just about any size vehicles including full size trucks & vans, and you also get installation hardware.

The attached pic showing the display makes the compass letters appear more green than light blue. They are the light blueish-greenish in color.

Just an update...as of today it looks like we have about 5 of these left. Of course we are working on sourcing more so that we can continue to offer them at this price, instead of the regular $259 price. I'll be updating this thread as the quantities change, and then if we manage to locate more, I'll post that info here too.

What is home link?

 

Go to www.homelink.com for more info. It can be used as a garage door opener control, gate opener control, turn lights on & off, and more. Pretty nifty!

 

Hmmm, this may be just what I'm looking for - I just want homelink and a compass. I have '14 TRD Offroad. Will I have to run any wiring or would this be a simple plug and play? Do you know if my truck has the constant hot wire in the 14 pin mirror plug?

 

Hey all - we still have these available and should be having them available at this same price for quite some time! Keep in mind that these can also be used in a variety of other vehicles when used with the standard wiring kit!
