The truck I bought came with this dumb interior stickers and I'm trying to remove them but the issue is the residue, I've tried good gone, a blow dryer works but takes up a lot of time and a heat gun is too hot and starts to warp the plastic pieces.

    Any other recommendations?

I'd use goof off, goo b gone or similar stuff designed to dissolve glue residue. Available at most hardware stores

yeah...you have to let the residue get soaked with the goo gone. I use a paper towel ... get it good and soaked in a spot and just hold it on the gunk for a bit....reapply as needed. It's a pain but it will work

Fuck screwing with that, people sell those dash pieces on eBay for like $25

    Search up "Tacoma dash bezel"

I don't see the "good" shape one for $25 I saw a few days ago, most of the ones in decent shape are mound 40-50 shipped at the moment...some for like $70 ish in better shape.

Man that's a bummer. If it was me I'd source whatever interior trim pieces I could find at a good price and just have to suck up the rest. I can't offer much for helping on how to remove it though. Best of luck.

Stick on wood grain dash kit. You can see remaining pieces around the silver gauge rings

You might actually see if any auto wrecking yards in your area have a Tacoma. Some yards also have a search feature and can get the parts if they don't have them.

I hate the look of those kits but in this case I might would order one to cover it up. You can get solid colors, carbon fiber etc if you like those betters.

Another thing to consider...Goo-Gone, Goof Off, WD40, PB Blaster, whatever, are gonna stink up the interior something fierce, especially if it gets into the pores of the vinyl. You will be smelling it for months afterwards.
If a hair dryer works, you might be best just taking the time to do it that way.

I would think anything that will remove that residue, will also destroy the finish.
