Cement Rav4 parked beside me yesterday at work.

 

Man they killed the Rav 4, looks like an uglier version of the Jeep Compass. Sweet Taco beside it though.

 

i believe thats the lunar rock color not the cement

aka the color for the 2021 TRD pro line up

 

Ok you caught me. I wondered how long it would take someone to pick up on that!

 

only know this because the wife was looking at one in that color or a 5th gen runner
my bad lol

 

It is interesting because to me, they look good out on the streets (the RAV4, not the Minty paint).

Now, the crazy one is that I saw my first C8 Vette. By gawd, it was awful and looked like a bad body kit on a Fiero. It's weird because the exterior looks pretty good in pics.

 

My wife has one, we get a lot of complements on the style and color.

 

Not a fan either. Of course that's very subjective but I feel like they missed a big opportunity to do their own thing as they did with the previous iteration. Instead they gave it the cookie cutter aggressive styling with fake vents then threw every type of trim possible on it (matte/textured, piano/smooth, chrome, colour matched & satin silver!!).

 

I was teasing the wife one day while getting my oil changed at he local dealership. Text her about this super nice new Rav4 they had in the showroom. TRD Off Road model with all the goodies. She started getting exited as she has had 2 Rav4's in years past.
Text me a pic, text me pic she said! So I text her a pic of this Lunar Rock TRD Off Road Rav4 sitting in the showroom.

All she text back was...

 

Hahaha! Mine has a jones for Foresters but absolutely hates the pearl white. I should do that.

 

I like that color less and less the more I see it.

 

I'm sort in the same boat. I wonder if this next year will be a flip or a flop?
