    *Adventure Mobile Update*

Just finished installing all the basics on my Tacoma. Next step is organization of camp kitchen, gear, and drawer separation. The goal is to be able to live out of the truck days at a time. A couple functional tips/materials I used in the build process.

    1. I purchased an ARE V-Series camper shell with reinforced roof, yakima rails, windoor (driver side only), sliding passenger side window and built in a LED strip in shell interior for lighting.
    2. My truck bed will be sustaining quite a bit of weight, I opted to reinforce the ceiling. Soon, to be installing a Roof Top Tent with 3+ person capacity (for the pups too).
    3. Since so much weight will be placed on the bed, I installed Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners. Tacomas are built with a composite material and if/when you start to place a tremendous amount of weight on the bed it can start to flex outwards (OUCH). These stiffeners will help keep my bed aligned with the camper shell.
    4. When considering putting a Roof Top Tent on the shell I wanted to make sure the weight would be evenly distributed throughout the whole shell, so I opted to buy a Prinsu TopRack and put the mounting brackets on the second from the front and second from the back. This will allow the weight load to be as balanced as possible. The Prinsu TopRack didn’t come with instructions so it took some time to assemble, but with the help of Megan’s ingenuity we got it all squared away.
    5. Next, was the drawer system. TruckVault is incredible, I was able to customize a system to allow for elongated drawers (length of my bed) to put as much gear as possible into. With no wasted space--the outer edges (where the wheel well elevates) was with removable, magnetic hardware to allow me to get access to the outlet and additional storage compartments. I went with Utility height at 8 1/8” so it would be as flush as possible with the wheel wells.
    6. Cabin wise, I wanted more space in my backseat for the dogs or additional gear so I fabricated my own collapsable platform. I used 4 Ply, door hinges, fabric and foaming material.
